Applying makeup is artwork! With so many brushes available, it is easy to feel overwhelmed. My 10-piece set was not enough to get the job done. Let's explore the different brushes and their purposes. Remember – every time you put on makeup, you are creating a beautiful masterpiece!Concealer Brush - generally shaped like a paintbrush but with denser, firmer synthetic bristles. Can be used for concealer under the eyes and cream shadow.Brow Brush - similar in bristle density, can be used for brows, and gel liners, and is usually inexpensive.Blending Brush (AKA Windshield Wiper) - usually rounder and bigger for soft, blended eyeshadow application. Great for beginners and blending.Crease Brush - an angled version of the blending brush for more precise placement. Pencil Brush - for a soft and smokey shadow look on bottom lashes. Small and shaped like a pencil tip.Flat Eyeshadow Brush - densely packed bristles for a smooth base. Essential for eye makeup. Lash & Brow Spoolie Brush - tames brows and declumps mascara. Generally comes with a brow pencil.Flat Eyeliner Brush - firm bristles for long-lasting application.Lip Brush - used for bold lips and easy travel. Foundation Brush - used for an
airbrushed look, though may not work with all foundations.Stippling Brush - duo-fiber bristles for light, gentle application.Powder/Bronzer/Blush/Contour/Highlight Brushes - invest in one quality brush for all purposes.
